spilt is a keyword which can split data based on seperation 
in inter face programming,,,,,,,,,,

example;
1  in,in,in tab x,y,z tab 11,12,13.........this is flat 
file,......
split it_itab-banks at ',' in to table banks,
split it_itab-bankl at ',' in to table bankl,
split it_itab-bankn at ',' in to table bankn.......
