QUALITY CONTROL measures the quality of a product
QUALITY ASSURANCE measures the quality of processes used  to
create a quality product.

QA is done by Auditor and Qc is done by Testers

Quality Control means measuring the quality of the product 
which has been developed. In other word it means "finding 
defects" in the product before it is released to client.

Quality Assurance means setting processess so as to achieve 
a desired quality. It other words it means, "taking 
measures" for avoiding the occurance of the defects in the 
software.

QA is the process of Monitoring and Guiding each and every 
role in the organisation right from initial phase to the 
end of the process.generally they do Verification.


QC is the proces of validating the developed 
products,whether the developed product is right or not
generaly they do validation.

Quality assurance is a planned and systematic activity that 
provides adequate confidence that the products and services 
are confirmed to specified requirements. 
It helps in establishing the process.

Quality control is the process by which the product quality 
is compared with the applicable standards and action taken 
when non conformance is detected. 
It helps in implementing the process.

2. They prepare life cycle and other process models based 
on quality standards.
3. They review the reports based on the standards.
4. The Focus is on the process.
5. The primary principle of QA team is Verification. 	
				

QC:	

1. They are responsible for the detection of defects. 
2. They implement the life cycle and other process models.

QA is a process related activity to measure the quality of 
the process involved in creating a quality 
product...prevention of errors
Testing is oriented towards detection.

Quality Assurance means verification.it is the process of 
identifying standards and guidelines.
Quality Assurance is continuous improvement.
QA people are responsible for this.they will guide and 
monitor each and every role in the organization to 
accomplish his work in a right maner according to the 
guidelines.

QA
is the process of giving documented programme.In  
Q.assurence the product manufactured follows predetermined 
specefications and confines process is guinine which is 
employed for mfg. 

Q.C
its is one of the testing process where the product 
complies the standards of the official references.
For Ex. if any chemicals test the standard to pass or fail 
the limit is mentioned in respective pharmacopoea of 
respected countries.
in india we follows IP.
