layer 3 switch do routing with Aisc chips router do with
microprocessor and its associated software
              
          THEREFORE l3 switch is much faster than traditional
router but cost is more as compared to router

fprwarding in haredware.layer3 switches are routers with 
fast farwording done via hardware
