It should be "NO" if the person is working as a
developer.But if the person is working on testing itself
and getting a good offer from the company he should go for
this.

What suchi told i wont agree because I will tell u one
thing one of my friend was working in one MNC in Bangalore
on .net has 3 years experience.When he came from out this
company his CTC is 3.8 Then he went another company for the
same interview for .net he selected and joined in that
compnay but after join there is no projects on .net then
they shifted him to testing(pakka Manual with white and
block box testing) he done more than 1 year in that project
he got good knowledge in testing as well as he has good
experience in .net with SQL Server. Then he applied for
Microsoft for the post of develper in .net with testing
experience. he selected in Microsoft and get offer as 12
lacks p.a. Just check with within one year. he is very
lucky person in his friend circle who are joined on the
first day they are also apply for Microsoft but their
resume was not shortlisted.
Need luck man...........
Learn new technologies there no much developmet and testing.
now a days in some technologes in testing there are getting
morethan 10 lacks p.a. with 3 yars experience guys.

I agree what u said. Let me give one more example in our
office itself one guy who worked for IBM as a php developer
has applied and got a job as Qa specialist in our office.
so either testing or developing what ever we need to keep on
learning that's what the matters most.

You are the decision maker. You have two train lines. One
line is used by trains often. And the other one is used by
only one train aday at morning.
In midday, 5 children went to play with balls. They went to
play on these two lines. 4 Children choose to play on the
second line (often a busy line of trains) and only one (the
youngest one) choose to play on the deserted line
At a certain time a train (that can never be stopped came on
the second line). You can switch to go on deserted line.
Anyhow, if you are the decision maker, will you choose first
or second line? and Why? (Children/child on chosen line will
be killed by the train, there is no escape)
