How to read records in reverse order in flat file?
I know we can do it by reading all records into an array....
Then read records in reverse order by using subscript or index
but can any body give me the exact code.
A cobol program to read a file , match it with other if.
If match occurs then write it to an output file. If no
match then no need to write it.Error log created by program
to track any error.
In a program, there are 2 sections defined say SECTION-A
and SECTION-B. There is a paragraph say CALC-INT in both
the sections. If this para has to be called directly for
SECTION-A, then PERFORM CALC-INT will not work as it is
present in both sections. How the PERFORM statement has to
be coded here?
