Quality Assurance is Monitoring and measuring the strengths
of a development Process.
Quality Control is Validating the S/w.
QA--------->During process (what precations taken by)
Qc---------> After Process (How you performed atlast)

QA-It is a process oriented activity
QC-It is a product oriented activity

QC will never interfer with the process ,only modify the 
product,whereas QA will tell the employee to modify the 
process.

1. Quality assuarence is Process orientated and quality
control is product oreinted.

2. Quality assuarence  prevents the defects. 
Quality control detects the defects.

3. Quality assuarence is line function.
Quality control is staff function.

QA is a preventive method and QC is a detective method.

QA sets up process, improves process and identifies defects 
in process. 

QC is concerned with the product the process produces.

QA can be called as control over QC.

Walk Thruoghs,Unit Testing,Integration Testing.

QC Is Process to Correct The Defects Through Black Box
Testing.

QA: Its looking at improving the whole developement process 
to make it run smoothly and effectively. QA is all about 
process.

QC: is to check that certain levels of quality are observe 
as a result of the improvement that have been made to the 
process. QC is all about product

QA:A planned and systematic set of activities necessary to
provide adequate confidence that requirements are properly
established and products or services conform to specified
requirements.
	

QC:The process by which product quality is compared with
applicable standards; and the action taken when
nonconformance is detected.

QA:An activity that establishes and evaluates the processes
to produce the products.
	

QC:An activity which verifies if the product meets
pre-defined standards.

QA:Helps establish processes.
