Answer
# 1

ACTIVE COMPONENTS

The components which produce the energy in the form of
current or voltage are called as active components.
Example:transistors etc,.

PASSIVE COMPONENTS

The components which stores the energy in the form of
current or voltage are called as passive components.
example:inductors,resistors,capacitors etc,.

Answer
# 2
active components are that type of components which
required some bias voltage to operate.
EX - transistor,FET

passive components are that type of components which
doesn't required bias voltage to operate.
EX - resistor,capacitor,inductor

Answer
# 3
the component which cant perform any function itself but
when these components are connected in any ckt with active
component then it gives a performance. for ex: resistor,
capacitor, inductor.....
the component which can perform a specific funtion like
amplifying the signal, rectify the signal..........they are
called active component. for ex: transistors, diode, scr,
diac,triac.........

Is This Answer Correct ?    377 Yes 101 No

Answer
# 4
active components are nothing but energy sources, which can
give voltages, currents. eg:transistors, diodes etc.

passive components are energy storage elements.
eg:inductors,conductors etc.

Answer
# 5
active component are those which modify and amplify or only
amplify the input signal is called active component.
such as transistor,FET.

passive component are those which modify but not amplify the
input signal is called passive component. such as resistor,
capacitor, inductor, diode.

Is This Answer Correct ?    170 Yes 55 No

Answer
# 6
the active components are those component which amplify the
signal or processes the signal or in the other words
these coponents need biasing for activation.

the passive components need no biasing for the activation
they have no tendancy for amplify the signal.

Is This Answer Correct ?    127 Yes 36 No

Answer
# 7
The main components used in electronics are of two general
types: passive (e.g. resistors and capacitors) and active
(e.g. transistors and integrated circuits). The main
difference between active and passive components is that
active ones require to be powered in some way to make them
work. Active components can also be used to amplify signals.

Is This Answer Correct ?    131 Yes 44 No
