testing and functionality testing for the same (web based

usability defects are (1)To check Tab Order (2)Alignment
issue (3) Spelling mistake and more.So you can easily check
this defects in the screen.
Functionality defects are validation defects and more.
validation defects's one example: If there is a
textbox.According to business,this textbox should take 10
characters.Then u have to enter more than and equal number
of characters in this textbox.Here u have to check whether
it is taking 10 characters or more than 10 characters.If it
is taking more than 10 characters.Then it is a bug.It is so
easiy to test.

I had faced in one of the interview that " you have found the bug and assigned to the corresponding developer, but the developer did not accept your bug. what will you do at this situation. can any one help me with clear answer ? I answered like, I will show the SRS,GUI document and show the image of the bug where i got. and again they asked me , still they did not accpet your bug. what you will do ? Answer me....
