a call center is of 2 types 'inbound' and 'outbound'.
in an inbound call center, we get incoming calls with
queries and we resolve them for our customers.
outbound call center is where we have to cal our
customers... typically marketing!!!
Call centre is a place or organization, where large
number of calls are being made or received for the purpose

Inbound ? Receiving calls from customers for enquiry
purpose.
Outbound ? Telemarketing, Up sale, Cross sale, or some
times to call back the customers even it is inbound call
center.
Technical ? It is relating to Information technologies,
automobile, etc.,
Non-technical ? All services excluding Technological.
Like, Banking, Insurance, etc.,
In source (Captive) ? Companied owned call center for the
sake of confidentiality of customers? data.
Out source ? Third party organization, providing services
or selling products in favor of a company.
Domestic ? With in the geographical border of a nation.
Like BSNL, Reliance.
International ? Crossing the geographical border of a
nation. For example, Providing banking services for US
companies from INDIA.
Voice ? Interacting directly through voice with customers
on time.
Non-voice ? Interacting through e-mail, or remote desktop
method, etc.,
One more is known as Semi-voice, which is interacting
through both voice, e-mail, and other medias.
a company can not take part of both parts. one is developing
of products or organising a company in any way & at the same
time it has to get profits to the company by earning
customers right. ok now it takes days or months or years to
find a customer but it takes seconds to loose one. right so,
these big companies for example telecom such as
vodafone,airtel gave the contract to deal with thier
customers & answer thier quiries so that now what happens
when a customer calls to call centre & asks abt his query &
gets his answer in a very polite manner & totally he
satisfied with the way they rcvd & answered his. now what he
does he goes to his friends or some other persons & tells
that wow what a service by that ---- company they r so nice
yaar so finnaly the customer is seatisfied by CUSTOMER CARE
EXECUTIVE.company gets profit & the mediator gets profits
from the client i.e., the comp as vodafone or airtel by CSE
but CSE's will be paid less that is what a call centre
is........
Call canter is the fast growing industry here in our
country. It's about serving people regarding their needs
or concerns by using the internet or phones..
call centre is a place where company's subscribers
(customer) are calling for queries and for getting answers
of their problems and a good customer care executive
listning carefully, understanding the member, resolving
members concern on his first call and giving solution
thereby making a customer feel like a valued.
call centre means, its a communication between 2 persons.
there r 2 types of communication in call centre point of
view one is inbound and second one is outbound. in simple
way inbound means getting calls from the customers and try
2 solve those problems,and outbound means selling our
products to customers {it means creating desire in the
minds of customer}............... just like marketing.

call center is a place where we can ehance our skills and
do the justice to the best of our abilites.
It is a place where we can come to know the value of good
communication skills, interpersonal skills.

It is a dead end career. Yeah, we are talking business here,
everybody think that it is the best job ever created. But
have you think that the ability and skills you have will
just remain the way they are. For the rest of your life,
you'll just repeating your day to day activity.
Anyway, a call center is rated according to the need of an
individual.

methods etc.callcenters are mainly voice n nonvoive
callcenters.voice means it communicate directly it is
quicek problam solving method.voice based call center is
like mailing transfering data is takes time to get
responce and not like voice based.
Last Saturday on 18.05.2007 I went for an interview in IBM-
Daksh. They asked me why u are not trying for a job in any
other firm like DELL, HP, Microsoft etc. What kind of
answer one have to put for this kind of questions.
