Testers are different types like
             1.Functional Testers
             2.Performance Testers
             3.Security Testers
             4.Database Testers
    using automation or manual process. 
  1.Functional Testers normally do functional testing GUI 
testing,functional regression testing,GUI regression 
testing if need some basic database tests will be carried 
out during testing.
  2.Performance tests will do load testing ,stress testing
    ..etc 
  3.Security testers will do vulnerability testing on the 
    application.
  4.Database testers will ckeck the database data integrity 
    constraints,Stored proceduresenforced keys on 
tables ..etc.

Finally one thing types of testing will be decided by 
taking consideration of the following things
1.Type of the project
2.Total time availble for the testing
3.Resources available for testing
4.Budget of testing
5.Client need/demand......etc

2.smoke testing.
3.system testing.
4.User acceptence testing.
5.Performence testing.
6.End to End testing.
If there is less time to release the project then some few 
cases testers will also do
->unit testing.
->Integration testing.
Basically these two developers will do.
