-> Capability Maturity Model refers to a process 
improvement approach based on process model.A Process model 
is a strucutured collection of practices that describe the 
characteristic of effective processes.
-> It has 5 levels.
i) Initial (Level 1)
ii) Repeatable (Level 2)
iii) Defined
iv) Managed
v) Optimizing

 "Predictability,effectiveness and control of an 
Organisation's software processes are belived to improve as 
the Organisation moves up these five levels.While not 
rigorous,the emprical evidence to date supporting this 
belief." according to SEI.

CMMI:

It contains
i) Quality Management system
ii) Management Responsiblity
iii) Resource Management
iv) Product Realization
v) Measurement,Analysis & Improvement

ISO:
----
International Organization for Standardization is an 
international standard-stting body composed of 
representatives from national bodies.
