How do you start your QA if there are no system requirements?

Generally we will go for Ad-hoc testing if there are 
minimal doc/ requirements

V go for Exploratory Testing.. Exploratory Testing can b 
performed when there is no Req.... Adhoc is performed when 
there is no sufficient time for testing

Exlporatory Testing is one type of adhoc testing.

We will go for Exploratory testing.In which we can improve 
the test cases and its design as we mature doing testing 
cycle by cycle and understanding the application better.

Here comes new answer for exploratory testing.
A tester performs testing along with that handling 
additional responsibilities like test plan, test cases, and 
some quality related work. In short, tester simultaneously 
learning the up and downs and implementing the best 
practices to make a smooth run in entire test cycle.
Exploratory testing will differ from tester to tester. 

My request is to please post any info for How do you start 
your QA if there are no system requirements?
