An assertion is a statement  enables us to test our 
assumptions about the program.

       Each assertion contains a boolean expression that 
our believe will be true when the assertion executes. If it 
is not true, the system will throw an error.

assertion is a condition  which on being true will execute the statement.
else(if condition is false) it will throw an assertion error.)

if we want to enable the assertion, we need to enable the assertion by the option -ea.
