Its  almost the same 
Mutation Testing : introduces MODIFICATIONS to the 'system 
under test 'that would insert defects into that and then 
the same tests (applied for the sytem)  are applied to the 
modified system  to find out the bug

Error Seeding.-  It deliberetly introduces DEFECTS or BUgs  
into the sytem before the testing is started
