how can it possibble to see  the report output in excel 
sheet in oracle applications

I suppose you would be retrieving data using SQL. You can 
spool the data. Spooled data can be viewed  in excel. The 
teps involved are as follows:-

In SQL prompt, enter spool filename.txt
Enter the select statement you want to issue
execute it 
After the qry returned the rows, enter spool off.

This file can be opened by EXCel through import menu

Very simple--If u have toad software first query the 
statement and it will display all the values and there is 
one option called save as use this option it will ask
which file format u want to save the values then give .xls 
file and all the files will be saved in .xls format
