Entry and exit points are the entry and exit criteria for
testing , like for an application to enter in to system
testing the unit testing should have been completed. And for
acceptance the system testing needs to be completed.

Entry Points:
- Test environment is ready
- Test cases are prepared
- Dev team has given the build

Exit points:
- All modules are covered
- All test cases are executed
- Bugs are reported and resolved

Entry Criteria: All system docs like s/w, h/w, and 
installation 

Manual release, Test Build Release, Build release meeting 

Of testers.

Exit Criteria: All test cases executed according to entry 

Criteria and build is successful

Entry points are nothing but exection of your test cases.
Exit points can occur in 2 ways firstly by completion of 
the execution of test cases (passed) and secondly if any 
showstopper bug occus.

Correct me if i am wrong.

SRS and Test Plan are the entry points and Test result and 
test reports would be the exit points in TESTING

Entry Points--The condition that must be exist before a 
unit of project work can commence.

Exit Points--The condition that must be exist before a unit 
of project  can be completed.
