   Possitive Testing is to check the application Allows  
only  Valid inputs.

   Negative Testing is to check the application rejects the 
invalid inputs.

Positive testing is to check whether the desired function 
is being performed whereas negative testing is to check 
whether the undesired inputs are being accepted .

eg- A box which is supposed to take amount as input-
Positive- enter digits(should accept)
Negative- Enter alphabets(should not accept)

In my Application, There are 40 MIS Reports.There is Start & End Date box and Search button to search reports.Again for Every report Print and Download in PDF, CSV and Text option is there. What will be the test cases? The test description for all the reports will be same then should I have to write it for each Report test repeatadly?
