To check system Configuration:

command:
CPU inforamtion:cat /proc/cpuinfo
Memory Size:cat /proc/meminfo
Harddisk Capacity: df -h

*** cp /proc----
where you can get cpuinfo and meminfo....

to see all information about hardware we can use ,
#prtdiag

BUT IF U WANT TO SE ONLY CPU SEPEED 

#PSRINFO -V

# prtconf | grep -v not


Note – The grep -v not command is used to omit all lines 
containing the word “not” from the output (such as driver 
not attached).

prtconf -v

to  system information tust go start munu and run  type  , 
dxdiag, click ok

To check the system configuration the No of processor is 
used. and the No of processor available . So the processor 
is maintained the system configuration. 

Example:
pendium 1,2,3,4,and Duo core etc.
