0 - selects '0' Literally
[1-9]- selects the range between 1 to 9
[012] - selects either 0 or 1 or 2
[0-9] - selects the range between 0 to 9

[- / .] - selects either - or / or .
(19/20) - selects either 19 or 20 literally
