good question as per the question the bug is high severity
only so we send the application to the client and find out
the severity is preyority or not. if its preyority then we
ask him to wait.

if am wrong please correct me.

Hai friends this is rajendra

Answer for this question is:

Here we found defects/bugs in the last minute of the
deliveryor realese date

Then we have two options

1.explain the situation to client and ask some more time
  to fix the bug.
2.If the client is not ready to give some some time then
analyse the impact of defect/bug and try to find
workarounds for the defect and mention these issues
in the release notes as known issues or known
  limitations or known bugs.
Here the workaround means remeady process to be followed
  to overcome the defect effect.
3.Normally this known issues or known limitations(defects)
will be fixed in next version or next release of the
 software

this question asked me at verizon intervew in second round.
i have given a satisfactory answer to interviewer.

ok then frienz byeeeeeee

Hi...Friends
           this is gud question

in this case i fallow like

first i will conduct the meeting with dev team .. i will
explain about that bug and also seriousness of that
bug...they are ready to fix that bug within the time limit
(within 1 hour).i will wait till the bug is fixed then i
test it then i will released to my product
if it is not possible i will explain thhat bug to my client
and also explain the impact areas of that bug...and mention
these issues in release notes as known issues...

Hi Folks,
The Question Says the bug is High Seviarity, but, it is
not Saying About the Priority. if the bug is Low Priority
then the bug can be Fixed with in a Short time, the Bug
which have high seviarity can also have the Low Prority
so,development team can fix it in time then 5n, if not
mention in the Spec as a Not Delivarable.if the Bug is
Fixed with in the TIme then Make that also as a Delivarable.
