hai frindz this is rajendra

SEI-CMM is one of the quality model among ISO,Six-Sigma..etc
CMM quality model defined by Carnegie Mellon University,US.

SEI-CMM most Powerful and sounding words in the current
         software industry.

SEI -CMM is specially designed for software companies.

ISO -process improvement standard
but ISO lacking process measurement procedure
with out measurement no body can improve the process

But ISO quality standard can be implemented for any industry
organisation like police stations,airports,bus stands,small
companies of any kind.

SEI- Software Engineering Institute
CMM- Capability Maturity Model

CMM has 5 levels of maturity ,each levels shows process
maturity of the company.
level-1 Intial Maturity Level
level-2 Repeatable Maturity Level
Level-3 Defined Maturity Level
Level-4 Managed Maturity Level
Level-5 Optimising Maturity Lavel
In each level company will adapt some process quality
improvement standards.

CMM has 18 key process areas(KPA)
each key process area tells that state of functional
policies that are adapted.

CMM is a continuous process improvement model.

If a company reaches to CMM level 5 then it means
that it following quality procedure for implementaion of
projects?products during development.
