What is the difference between caustic soda and washing soda ?

Washing soda is a efforescent substance which on exposure to
air, loses water, whereas caustic soda is deliquescent solid
which is corrosive.

washing soda is sodium carbonate while caustic soda is
sodium hydroxide. washing soda is added to soap to prepare
detergent soap and powder while caustic soda is used to make
soap itself

Caustic soda is lye.so consider it like drano drain cleaner.
