VIsta is advanced version. i just read a report on vista,
and the security is seriously beefed up, like a linux os,
it asks for a password even to perform such tasks as adding
to the registry and changing the time, even on an
administrator account.
the windows firewall now block outbound and inbound
traffic, again the bypass on this should be easy...
but unless someone cracks vista security we are all going
to be left in the dark...
is anyone here gonna buy vista? personally i am staying
with XP.
I've asking myself that same for several weeks about the
difference between Windows XP and Vista. Am not smart asto
computers. So my thinking is that I have no choice but to
purchaase Vista. Am I correct? Could there some form of
tutorial available to teach dummies like me?
1. Bitlocker Option available Windows XP has . No Bitlocker
option
- Bitlocker drive encryption,
Bitlocker on volume
Prevents hard drive from hackers
2. Windows Vista has Windows Defender tool Windows XP has No
Windows Defender tool available
- prevents from spyware & unwanted
S/W installing on computer
3. Windows Vista has Parental control Feature Windows XP has
No Parental control Feature
- This option enables parents to restrict
Children’s which sites, games .software
to use & not
both these are very good operating systems......
basic technical diffrence is...
vista has 1.bit locker option...2.it has window defander
3. and also parental control....
instead of all these GUI of vista is good...but it is not
so good in low RAM as gud is window xp.
Window XP and Vista, although running similar programs,
have nearly a million different features between the two.
Vista has improved greatly upon an
operating system that was the mainstay for many homes over
the last few years.
Vista promises more.
