Compare to SAAB tank gauge measurement, DP level transmitter reading will not accurate. As the crude is viscous and it will choke up impulse tubing. It is better to install diaphragm capillary seal type Dp level transmitter. To calibrate Tx, Isolate primary valve of Hp and Lp tapping. depressurize Tx from manifold. check zero. measure the mmwc of tank and apply the value as per HP calibration.

DP transmitter can be calibrated by fixing the HP tapping on the roof and make the LP as open. now measure the mm/wc of the tank and apply the value as HP for calibration.
