The volume of disso media is basically the sink condition of the drug substance for which dissolution is to be done. Generally 3 to 5 times volume that require in order to form a saturated solution of said drug. Let a drug substance forms a saturated solution using 300 ml then for dissolution of such drug formulation required at least 900 ml or more disso media.

In stomouch fluid content is 250ml, in interstine it is
500ml, in git fluid content 900ml
