There are 2 motors without name plate and terminal but one
is DC motor and another is induction motor. How one can
identify which one is DC and which one is AC motor?

Ac Motors Body construction is slotted where In Dc motors construction is plain.reasons are given below.
In ac motors armature is static therefor more current for cooling purpose fins are required, thats why on motor body slots are given.
In case of DC Motors Armature is rotating therefor heat produced due to armature current.there for cooling ventilation
is required.and field is static, and it takes very small amount of current so thre is no cooling requirement for that.

there is a one way u have to check the rotor if the
commutator and brush assembly present in dc motor but not in
AC motor .
but in size dc motor size quit large compare then Ac motor
and also usually Ac motor has outer cooling fins and blower
which is fixed on shaft in case of dc motor forced air
cooled inside the motor in-order to dissipate the heat .

very simple . a DC motor has a commutator which is mounted on
shaft. but induction motor have no commutator . it is
identified by its its winding connections[terminal box]

Incase DC motor if u interchange the terminal, motor can be rotate reverse direction vice-versa.
Incase inductions motor if u interchange the terminal, motor can't be reversed
what do you mean by PF correction. A motor is rated at 15
kw,415 volts, 0.7 pf and eff of 0.92. The powerfactor is
improved to 0.98 by adding capacitors at the bus. calculate
the current drawn by motor under full load condition before
and after pf correction
For household Load of 11Kw supplying 5Nos. 1.5 ton Air
conditioners + usual other load what shall be rating of
Either ELCB Or ELMCB?
Which of the circuit breaker will be a better choice?
in a distribution board,if we have a load and we have
selected a cable after making all calcs (Deratings and
V.D , ect...) the cable we have selected was 10mm.sq.
now, shall the internal cable inside the switchboard should
be 10 mm.sq Like the external or it can be Less????
if somebody have an specs or information he can help D:
