what is the difference between hot air oven and vacuum oven?
why you are using vacuum for some products

Vaccum oven(LOD) is used to measure the amount of water &
volatile matters present in the given sample.It requires
certain limited Temperature.Other wise the sample may be
degraded and it will become unable to detect the warer and
volatile impurities .(IN hot air oven the temperature
control is not maintained)Therefore we have to use Vaccum
oven .

solvents and vaccum (lod)remove to volatile imp. at the
certain and specific temp.othervise sample are degreded.

In hot air oven, only heat is applied while in vacuum oven,both heat and vacuum are applied.Hot air oven is to dry or to determine loss on drying for solid or powder materials while vacuum oven is especially to check leakage of poly bottles.
