Depth of the distribution is selling the particular Products in Huge Quantities in a single outlet, Width of the distribution is selling the particular products in minimum placements in Huge Number of outlets ie., increasing coverage

depth : number of intermediaries between manufacturer and
customer. for eg: manuf-> distributer-> customer is a level-
1 distribution scenario with depth=1; manuf-> wholesaler-
>distributer->customer is a level 2 with depth=2.

width/breadth =intensity and assorment of channels that one
has to make the product available to the customer. It could
be intensive, selective or exclusive
