1.client server applications are generally run on a
client machine and request to a remote sever to aquire
service.
2.Web applications are generally transferred through web.
and they use browser as a client.
3.Windows applications are as simple as a ms word,ms
excel etc.

functionality which is not
specified as part of functional spec.(but is useful.. may b
