Re: Two trains start from A & B and travel towards each other at speed of 50kmph and 60kmph resp. At the time of the meeting the second train has traveled 120km more than the first. The distance between them is
# 4
The first train comes around 50km from the a
The second train comes around 60km from the b
At the time of meeting the second train has traveled [120km]
more than first..
So as per question second train has traveled 50km + 120km
=170km.

The distance between them is 170km - 50km = 120km.
A: 130km

# 5
The second train has traveled 120km more than the first train...
Now the speed of the trains A and B are 50 and 60 kmph resp.

Therefore, B travels (60-50)or 10 kmph more than A.

Now 120 divided by 10 is 12.....that means both the trains
runs for 12 hrs.

So, A travelled =50 * 12 =600 kms.
&, B travelled =60 * 12 =720 kms.
--------------------------------------
Total distance travelled is= 600 + 720 = 1320 kms.

assume that train with 50 km/h covers distance of d km.
in same time another train covers (d+120) km.

so d/50 = (d+120)/60

so, d=600 km.

So. distance between them is d+d+120= 1320 km
