corona is a one type of phenomenon, mainly occurs in
transmission line, some electric charge act with surrounding
air moisture. A violet glow mainly seems Also produce
vibration in transmission line And odor....It calculating as
loss of energy.

this is one of the reaction in highvoltage transmition line, H.V will ionization the air surrounding by the conductor, it will produce violet glow and vibrations, for reducing this vibration Damper Weight is using in transmition line.
