The beam whose bottom level is same that of slab called
inverted beam, likely to be used only in top slab of the
building to give good view for inner face of the
building.commonly not preferable now a days.
Technically speaking, in inverted beam the top reinforcement
is heavier than bottom reinforcement as the top
reinforcement is in tension & bottom reinforcement is in
compression, however in normal beam the loading conditions
Generally inverted beam is used in cantilever slabs & for
special architectural effects.
