when an induction motor runs on load.at that time if we
reduce the supply voltage the current increases. But when it
runs without load,if we reduce the supply voltage the
current also reduced.why?.i checked it practically also.
when motor runs on load ;there is a load who will draw
more current if u reduce the voltage load will draw more
current because it is essential to run the desire load ,
Formull V=IR,...when ther is no load nobody is there to
draw the more current ,so current reduce if u reduce the
supply voltage

what is the difference between KW and KVA?
Sir, My doubt on cable sizing calculation, Load:74 KW calculated cable 1 run 50mm2. Now client asking us to reduce cable size by increasing runs. Sir, My question now when my mind strikes with 2 options 1) Divide load 74/2 = 36 and calculate cable for 36+36 making it 2 runs or 2) Simply i can divide 50mm2 /2 ie. 2 runs of 25mm2 Please suggest me sir
