Working principle:RTDs r having the property of changing
its resistance on change in temperature in the predictable
way.So, to measure this resistance (to indirectly measure
the temp.)small amount of current(mostly 1ma) will be
passed through the circuit.I n this way the temp. will be
measured by RTD.

rtd based on the positive temperature coefficient(resistance
increase as increase in temperature), metal used in rtd are
platinum, copper nickel etc
