In case of 3Phase Supply, 
   Voltage R-Earth/Neutral  -  220
           Y-Earth/Neutral  -  220
           Z-Earth/Neutral  -  220
   Total is ->   660Volts

Then Why it is said that 3Phase supply is 440

# 1		 this voltage measure in R-Y 440v Y-B 440v RB-440 v so this
said that 3 phase R-Y-B supply is 440 v

# 3		 If we measure R-Earth/ Neutral that is 1 PH. 3 Phase, 440V
means we have to measure Phase - Phase i.e. R-Y, Y-B, R-B

# 4		 220 Multiply by root three is equal to 281.4 volts. for 440
volts single phase voltage up to 254 volts.

# 5		 the vole meter have 2 terminals only.... then how can we
mesure in 3 phase voltage... only chance mesure in 2 phases
only the 2 phase voltage 440

# 6		 in three phase supply there are three phases (here R, y,
and z) and only one neutral.
the voltage between any one phase and neutral is 220.
and the voltage between remaining two phases is 440.hence
the 3 phase supply is 440
