shuttering means a shape made before pouring of concrete as
specific size and diamention. This shape is made by
plywood/plate and with proper support.
centring means supporting arrengment of roof slab from

shuttering means form work for concreting , and centering means proper positioning of reinforcement with shuttering.
Shuttering is the frame or base provided for RCC structure

The vertical form work is called shuttering,where as horizontal form work is called as centring.
Shuttering is the structure prepared by mostly wood or steel

I Think there is no Difference between the two.. both are
Formwork is the term given to either temporary or permanent
moulds into which concrete or similar materials are poured.
In the context of concrete construction, the falsework
supports the shuttering moulds.

Shuttering is formwork which is used to shape up footing, column, beam , slab as per there given shape and sizes. While centering is process of marking center over actual site as per drawing

Centering is define as a proper arrangement of the Shuttering for giving dimension to structure.
shuttering of course is the framework done before concreting but centering is done while shuttering for proper placement.
to construct an arch ...we need to do shuttering perhaps centering. Devangie
