There are five topologies for networks
1. Ring Topology
2. Star Topology.
3. Bus Topology.
4. Mess Topology.
5. Hybrid Topology.

Now a days we are using EXTENDED STAR topology.
this is fast & reliable topology.

4th one is not mess topology its Mesh Topology.

In Mesh topology we have two kinds
1.Partial Mesh.
2.Full Mesh.


But we can't decide which topology we can use.all its 
depends on requirement and may other factors like cost.

different types of topology like as:-
1 star topology
2.bustopology
3.ring topology
4.hybrid topology.(in this topology used star& bus topology)
5.mesh topology.
mosty used star topology in lan networking.

I have 2 networks. One is LAN & other is Tata Indicom Modem which is connected to USB. The problem is that When USB Modem is using, i am unable to use LAN. And when we use LAN, we cannot use USB Modem. kindly help me. TATA1
