I am working in a process industry, in that there are several sections devided in the SCADA screen..

Answer / chandramauli sinha

There r various possibilities:

1. Its a common stop for all sections and are linked at
single command from SCADA screen.

2. Variable of section-1 is linked directly or indirectly
by process/ logic/ variable to other sections. On stopping
of Section-1, the process/logic of other section is
recognizing as fault and stops the respective sections.
please check that is there any link between these
sections...!

I am working in a process industry, in that there are several sections devided in the SCADA screen..

Answer / sks

this might be due to 2 reasons :
1)scan cycle of the processor has been increased anyhow as
the Dword value is updated after the signal is processed in
module. this extended scan cycle causes difference of
process values on HMI

2) check LAN ports of all stations and also the patch board,
if there is option for redundancy check the healthiness of
redundancy.
