What is difference between Pipe and Tube?

Pipe is used for conveying fliud without any heat transfer
whereas tube is used for conveying fluid with heat hransfer.
Therefore Pipe is thick according to d/t >10 and tube is
comparatively thin, as Mr. Bommuraj said.

size is designated. Pipe is designated by a "Nominal Pipe
Size" based upon the ID (inside diameter) of the most
common wall thickness. Tubing is designated by the measured
OD (outside diameter)

The fundamental difference between pipe and tube is:
Pipe is for mass transfer applications, whereas, tube is
for heat transfer applications.
Due to this fundamental difference, we generally call pipes
and tubes as: water pipes, steam pipes, slurry pipes,
boiler tubes, heat exchanger tubes, radiator tubes, etc.
