you exact procedure how is the weight of reinforcement
steel is calculated.
wt of steel per r.m. = (3.142/4 x d x d x 7850)/1000000
= d2(mm)/162.19

procedure ..you all are giving shortcuts to find weight of
steel..
wt. of steel=(3.142/4 X d2 X 7850)/1000000 X length of bar
let me explain once again
3.142 is value of pi
7850 is density of steel in kg/m3
