A PC in an Ethernet network can communicate with another
PC, if only it knows the Ethernet address (MAC address) of
that PC. Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) is a network
protocol uses to translate a PC’s IP address to physical
(hardware) address. From OSI model point of view, ARP
belongs to the OSI data link layer (Layer 2).

Answer
# 4
when a request recieved by the switch from a specific port
i first check the mac table for that request if the
appropriate mac address is present then it just forward to
that specific address as a unicast if it is not present in
the table then the address resolution protocol broadcast
that address and when it get a correct reply from a port it
then add that port to there mac address table so it mean
the first request will be broadcast and next time it will
unicast
so the correct
