MUX IS USED AT TRANSMITTER SIDE, DEMUX IS USED AT RECEIVER
SIDE,
MUX WILL CONVERT MANY INTO 1 BUT PASSES ONLY ONE
INFORMATION AT A TIME,DEMUS WILL RECEIVE ONE SIGNAL BUT
PASSES TO DIFFERNT DESTINATIONS,
incase of multiplexer if we giveseveral inputs, then at the
output we get only one output, but incase of demultiplexer
if we give one input, then at the output we get several
outputs.means multiplexer is the opposit of demultiplexer.
I agree with Priyadarshi sahu. But here one thing do u
remember.actually in telecommunications,ISP we use both the
mux and demux .
Mux means --we give many inputs and get single input only
Demux-------we give single input and get more outputs.
ex:consider one Internet service provider(ISP) location
Here in POP(Point of Presence)all are using MUX and Demux
because lot of customers are connected and at customer side
also they connected lot of systems and the data flow b/w all
the systems as well as pop
MUX: It is a combinational circuit that selects binary
information from one of many input lines directs it a
single output.
DEmux:It takes a singledata input and n address input and
2^n outputs.
n address input determine whih data output is going to have
same value as data output.
. The IT giant Tirnop has recently crossed a head count of
150000 and earnings of $7 billion. As one of the
forerunners in the technology front, Tirnop continues to
lead the way in products and services in India. At Tirnop,
all programmers are equal in every respect. They receive
identical salaries ans also write code at the same rate.
Suppose 12 such programmers take 12 minutes to write 12
lines of code in total. How long will it take 72
programmers to write 72 lines of code in total?
a) 18 b) 72 c) 6 d) 12
