Re: in pf lagging means current decrease by increasing voltage is correct or not ? reason ?
Answer
# 1
PF lagging means there is an inductive load connected along with active load. more inductive load or less pf means more current in conductor which results copper losses and generates heat. with temperature increase resistance of a conductor would also increase hence voltage drop as a result. so Increasing voltage will result in more current.

Answer
# 2
in lagging PF the load will consume more current to provide
the power required by the load. the voltage remains the
same and current varies w.r.t PF.

Can anyone tell me how about the placement in IIT's for m.tech in (microelectronics and vlsi or electronics related discipline). Some of them are telling like placement is very rare for m.tech electronics. Also the placement details in IIT websites are not true. Is that so ? can any one help us regarding this.  1
