Answer
Found a defect,prepare a defect report with status : NEW

Defect accepted by development team status : open

Dev.team resolves the defect status : fixed/Resloved

If the defect is fixed status : close

If Dev.team rejects the defect status : duplicate.

0 Rahul

Answer
1. Once user report the defect with status as New

2. Business expert will analyze the defect and accepts its
a defect then it comes to Assigned State

3.Assigned user will analyze the defect he is able to
reproduce then he will try to fix and change the status as
Fixed. suppose he is unable to reproduce then developer
will assign status as Clarification Required.

4. Suppose bug state as clarification required then tester
needs to give more information regarding this defect.

5. Suppose defect status as Fixed then Dev manager will
check the code and changed the status as Fix Verified and
assign back to Testing Team means testers (who raised the
defect)

6. Once release the new build then testers will test the
application, suppose application is working fine then
tester will close the defect. Status as Closed.

7. Still user is getting the same defect in new build
status as : Fix Rejected.

what ever steps mentioned above wil vary company to company
or defect tracking tool to tool. But the entire defect life
cycle is the same but status will change.

Front-End and Back-End Server

Details:Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Microsoft
Exchange 2000 Server support using a server architecture
that distributes server tasks among front-end and back-end
servers. In this architecture, a front-end server accepts
requests from clients and proxies them to the appropriate
back-end server for processing. This guide discusses how
Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange 2000 Server support the
front-end and back-end server architecture. Also covered
are several front-end and back-end scenarios and

Here              volume is (1 cement bag=1.25 cu.ft)
     cement  1    1.25 cu.ft
     sand    2    2.50 cu.ft
     metal   4    5.00 cu.ft
                 -----------
                  8.75 cu.ft total volume

4 Pinkal

Answer
The ratio is 1:2:4, so total ratio is 1+2+4=7
considering 1cum.
cement = (1 x 15.4)/7= 2.2 cum
       = 2.2/.347=6.3bags
sand=2.2x2=4.4cum
metal=2.2x4=8.8cum

Answer
For M15 - 1:2:4

Consider 1 cumec

Summation of M15 Proportion is 1+2+4 = 7

Quantities:
Cement = 1(cumec)/7(summation)
       = 0.1428 cumec
       = 0.1428/0.0347
       = 4.11 = 5 bags

Sand   = 4.11 * 2 = 8.22 cumec

Aggregate = 4.11 * 4 = 16.44 cumec

For W/C = 0.45 (Assumed)

Water = 0.45 * 4.11 = 1.85 ltrs

Answer
Consider for 1CUM of concrete is to be prepare,For that

M15 is a nominal mix, its proportion is 1:2:4

for 1cum of final mix(Dence) is required, 1.50 to 1.55 Cum
of loose ingredients with the required proportion we want
to add.

Based on that take avg of 1.50 & 1.55 is 1.52

Total proportion = 1+2+4 = 7

For Cement Qty = 1.52/7=0.217 Cum of cement required to
prepare 1Cum of M15 concrete.But cement is always taken in
Weight.For that the unit weight of cement is 1440 KG/Cum
Total cement required = 0.217x1440= 312.68 Kgs.

Sand = 0.217 x 2 =0.434 Cum

Metal or Aggregate = 0.217 x 4 =0.868 Cum.

Answer
DETAILS:

cement = 1,
sand   = 2
metal  = 4
so wat is the ratio we want mixing (1:2:4)=1+2+4=7
7 is mixing propotion
volume of wet cement conceret is 1.54 to 1.57

unit weigth of cement is 1440kg/cum

one bag of cement =50/1440=0.034722 cum

solution : cement = 1.54/7=0.22
                   0.22/0.03472=6.33 bags
one bag of cement = 50kgs
                  =6.33*50kgs=316.82 kgs

solution of sand = 0.22*2=0.44cum

                  2 is the mixing of propotion

soolution of metal = 0.22*4=0.88cum

                  4 is the mixing of propotion

say i cum of cement conceret 1:2:4 ratio

cement = 6.33 bags

sand   = 0.46 cums

metal  = 0.88 cums

 this is one type of solution

unit weight of cement is 1440kg/cum
               sand     1660 to 1800kg/cum
Unit weight of metal is 1630kg to 2000kg/cum

so cenment = 1.54/7=0.22
             0.22*1440=316.8 kgs/cum
   sand    = 0.22*1750=385kgs/cum

Answer
Note: For 1m3 wet concrete = 1.52m3 dry concrete approximately
SP.Wt of concrete= 1440 kg/m3 (or) 1.44 t/m3
1 bag of cement = 50 Kg
Example:- for 20 m3 volume of concrete.

a) Quantity of cement required = (1:2:4)
=1/(1+2+4) x 1.52  20 = 4.14m3 x 1440/50  =119.26 bags

b)Quantity of Sand required = (1:2:4)
=2/(1+2+4)1.52x20=8.28m3 OR =4.14 x 2=8.28 m3.

c)Quantity of course aggregate = (1:2:4)
=4/(1:2;4) x 1.52 x20 = 16.56m3 OR =4.14 x 4= 16.56m3.

If qty. calculate in Kg just multiply by its Sp. wt of sand
or aggregate.

Answer
For volume 1 cu.m

Consider:
Cement= 1x1/7=0.14 cu.m = 4 bags,   since 1 bag= 0.035 litre

Sand= 1x2/7= 0.29 cu.m

aggregate= 1x4/7= 0.57 cu.m

When we sum up give us: 0.14 + 0.29 +0.59 = 1.02 cu.m

Answer
i will go with answer of Mr.Adishankar, but i feel a small
suggestion
cement-1
sand-2 with bulking 25% is 2.5
metal- 4
volume of 1m3 of wet concrete is equal 1.54 times of dry
mix

so cement required is 1.54/7=0.22m3 of cement equals 6.34
bags (0.22/0.0347)
sand required is 2.5/7=0.357*1.54=0.55m3 or 0.22*2.5=0.55m3
metal required is 0.22*4=0.88m3
1m3 of 1:2:4 nominal concrete mix contains
cement-6.34 bags
sand - 0.55 m3 with 25% bulking in normal practice
metal - 0.88m3

Answer
In order to estimate the quantity of loose materials to have
100 cubic feet wet concrete we first multiply the wet
concrete by 1.54.
e.g 100x1.54=154 cubic feet of dry materials we need.

now come to the ratio of concrete which is 1:2:4 so sum of
the ratio will be 1+2+4=7

calculating separately each material:

Cement: 1/7x154 = 22 cubic feet
where 1 bag of cement measured 1.25 cubic feet approx
therefore 22/1.25 = 17.6 bags of cement. 1 bag contains 50kg
cement so total cement by weight we need for 100 cubic feet
concrete = 17.6x50 = 880kgs

sand: 2/7x154 = 44 cubic feet

coarse aggregate: 4/7x154 = 88 cubic feet

Answer
ratio is 1:2:4 sum is equle 7
1 bag cement is equle to 1.25
 total quantity resum is 200 cft
dry Volume of total quantity which is 200 cft to multiply
1.54 will be the value of total quantity is 308 cft.
which is the total quantity 308 multiply 1(which is cement
ratio)and divided 7 which is the sum of ratio it will
become 44 and now we convert cft to cement bag which is the
value of 1.25 for bag.

44 divided by 1.25 is 35.2 the Sum is 35.2 Cement of Bags.
same for sand. which value was came after dry
308 multiply ratio of sand which is 2 then divided sum of
the ratio which is 7 will become the value of Sand is=88 cft

for crash 308 multiply 4 which is the value of crush and
devided by sum of value which is 7 total sum will become
176 cft.

Total sum of quantity of 1:2:4 mean.
Cement=35.2 Bags
Sand= 88 cft
Crush= 176 cft

These are right answer.

Answer
for mixing of 1:2:4 proportion
1 is stand for cement, 2 stand for sand and 4 stand for aggregate.
for volume batching.standard pharma is used.which is of 35 liter.
for 1 bag proportion.
cement= 1 bag
sand= 2*35
    = 70 liter
aggregate= 4*35
         = 140 liter
in cum
1 cum = 1000 liter
70+140=210 liter
 reduce 25% of 210 for wet mixed.
which comes 158 liter
1000 liter/158 = 6.36 bag of cement

Answer
RECTIFIER IS A SYSTEM WHICH CONVERT AC VOLT INTO DC ,THAT
MEANS O/P DC VOLT.
CONVERTOR IS A SYSTEM WHIH CONTAIN RECTIFIER $ INVERTOR
BOTH OF UNIT, THAT MEANS O/P IS AC VOLT.

1 Gg

Answer
A rectifier can just convert a.c to D.C. but the converter
can do both ac to dc and also dc to ac... depending on the
firing angles and such criteria

2 Vishnu Kumar

Answer
Dear All,
Pls avoid both the answers given above. the correct answer
is :
Rectifier converts AC to DC
Convertor converts AC to Variable DC.

This means Rectifier uses diodes which converts whatever AC
is fed at the input to the DC

Converters uses SCR ( sometime along with diodes )which are
fired accordingly and variable DC is generated by phase
control mechanism

5 Suvendu Chakraborty

Answer
rectifier means convert ac to dc voltage but converter means convert one form to other form

0 M.kumaran

Answer
(A)diode are extensively used in rectifier ckt that convert
ac voltage into fixed dc voltage.i/p voltage to the
rectifier could be sigle phase or three phase...

(B)on the other hand converters working can be explained
with the help of their 4 types-

1.ac-dc conveters(also known as controlled rectifier)-
natural commutated thyristors are extensively used.the
average value of o/p voltage can be controlled by varying
the conduction time of thyristors or firing angle delay.the
i/p could be a single or three phase source...

2.ac-ac converters(also known as ac voltage controller)-
these converters are used to obtain a variable ac o/p
voltage from a fixed ac source.in which TRIAC are used and
average value of o/p voltage is controlled by varying the
conduction time of a thyristor or firing angle delay...

3.dc-dc converters(also known as chopper or switching
regulators)-in which transistors are used and average time
of o/p voltage is controlled by varying the conduction time
of transistor...

4.dc-ac converters(also known as inverter)-in which also
transistors are used.the o/p voltage is of the alternating
form.the o/p voltage can be controlled by varying the
conduction time of the thyristors...

Answer
Rectifier means to change AC voltage into a fixed DC
voltage (240vac into 48vdc). Converter means to change the
AC voltage level into another level of the same AC voltage
(120vac to 240, or 240vac to 120vac)

0 John

Answer
Rectifier means AC to DC voltege and only used for
diodes.but converter means AC to DC voltage and used for
both diode and thyristors family.

0 Kumar

Answer
Rectifier means Alternating current(AC) to Direct current(DC) conversion and apply the use of diodes.
A converter can be AC to DC or DC to AC or conversion from one level of either AC or DC to another level.

0 Joseph

Answer
Rectifier converts ac to fixed dc using diode (uncontrolled
device)but converter converts ac to variable dc using diode
along with thyristor(controlled device).

0 Sadhitha

Answer
A rectifier converts AC voltage into DC voltage. A
converter is something more general. It describes not only
rectifiers, but also devices that can turn DC into AC or
perform DC-to-DC or AC-to-AC conversion.
Or
converter change one form of supply in to other.that is
from AC to DC, DC to AC(inverter), AC to AC(cylic
converter) with change in frequency.
 rectifier convert AC into DC.that rectifier is a kind of
converter. But all the converters are not rectifiers.
In all whole converters makes use of SCR, MOSFET and
transistors, rectifiers is almost always diodes (bridge or
single)

p has address of letter a. p++ means it will have address of
y. *p reffers to the character y. so pre-incrementing that
will result in letter z being printed.

Answer
q

0 Laxmi Bose

Answer
as *p has address of a.and after increment p++ it moves to
y and after ++*(p++) its address is incremented and gets the
another location and gets the value z and value of memory
location is any other value.

0 Ravneet Kaur

Answer
p is char pointer that store the address of string "ayqm"
that means p have the address of 'a'.
if we write printf("%c",*p);
we get the output 'a';
now the *(p++) is post-increment that means it print the
value than increment the address by 1.
so *(p++) is print the value 'a'.
at finally ++*(p++) is increment the ascii value of 'a' by 1.
so it become 'b'.
the final output is 'b'.

function "printf" should have a prototype

0 Manoj Gupta

Answer
char *p = "ayqm";

this line points to a string which is in read only data segment.

the printf statement p++ will be pointing to y.
It dumps core when trying to assign z at that location because the memory pointed to string ayqm is READ ONLY.

0 Kishor Amballi

Answer
b

0 Leka

Answer
correct answer  is :-    b
why because
p is a char pointer that holds the base address of
string"ayqm". so p points to address where 'a' is stored.
p++ is a post increnment statement so p will still points
to a but after this printf statement p will start pointing
to 'y'.
now *(p++) will return the values at address pointed by p
which is 'a'. and ++*(p++) means ++'a' which returns 'b'
so correct answer is b

Answer
the answer is b..
char *p="ayqm"; p a character pointer points to the base add
of string ie a...
printf("%c",*p); will print a....
printf("%c",*(p++)); will print a....
when we post increment the p then it will giv answer a..but
it wil increment by 1
printf("%c",++*(p++));
here it is ++a will print b....

0 Anu-priya

Answer
printf("%c", p );----->  prints address of a, i.e. 1024 (say).
printf("%c", p++);----->  prints address of y, i.e. 1025 (say)
printf("%c", *(p++));----->  prints the char y,
printf("%c", ++*(p++));----->  prints the char z,

so final answer is z.

cycle time--

THE TIME TAKEN TO RETURN TO ITS STARTING POINT AFTER THE
COMPLETION OF ALL PROCESSES.

STANDARD TIME-

The time which should be followed by the all processes
during the completion of the cycle.

means cycle time should be closer to the STANDARD time.

CRITICAL STANDARD TIME--

Maximum time that can be used by the processes during its
complete cycle is called CRITICAL STANDARD TIME.
