Answer
selling is the process of transfering the ownership of
goods or delivering service to customers.this is the way of
exchange for mutual benifit of seller and buyer.
on the other side marketing is very wider term starts from
planning and go with market reasearch, product
development,advertisement,selling and after sale services.

in simple words marketing is all about understanding needs
and creating the demand and trying to satisfy the
customers. while selling is only a part of marketing and is

Answer
Sales is the only thing which gives revenue to the
organization.

Marketing is all about anticipating and understanding needs
, wants and demands of customers.

If i draw a big circle of marketing, sales would be a major
part of this.that Marketing improves the selling environment
and plays a very important role in sales. If the marketing
department generates a potential customers list, it can be
beneficial for sales. The marketing department's goal is to
increase the number of interactions between potential
customers and company, which includes the sales team using
promotional techniques such as advertising, sales promotion,
publicity, and public relations, creating new sales
channels, or creating new products (new product
development), among other things.

Answer
SALES: Total dollar amount collected for goods and services
provided. While payment is not necessary for recognition of
sales on company financial statements, there are strict
accounting guidelines stating when sales can be recognized.
The basic principle is that a sale can only be recognized
when the transaction is already realized, or can be quite
easily realized. This means that the company should have
already received a payment, or the chances of receiving a
payment is high. In addition, delivery of the good or
service should have taken place for the sale to be recognized.

Answer
Sales refer to as a systematic process of repetitive and measurable milestones, by which a salesperson relates his offering enabling the buyer to visualize how to achieve his goal in an economic way.
Selling is a practical implementation of MARKEING it often forms a separate grouping in a corporate
structure, employing separate specialist operatives known as salesmen (singular: salesman or salesperson).

Marketing is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.

The Marketing task is not only to deliver the product. In fact, it entails much more than just promotion and
delivery. Marketing now is:-
“Right product for the Right people at the Right time at the Right place at a Right price with Right
services”.
Different b/t marketing & sale:In one word
*Marketing = Awareness
(demographic, R&D, surveys etc) and
*Sales = seldom profit & delivery

In this context, kindly find note the examples:-

    movie is a salesman
(2) A politician addresses to the public making them to vote
for him explaining his candidature is a salesman
(3) A typical salesman showing his product and convinces the
buyer to agree to his (his company's) terms, to buy a
    product - is a salesman

Answer
There is no specific syllabus for the examination. This
examination was very easy till 2001.But in 2007 ,it was
made as a tough examination. Moreover, there is no surity
that only a fixed number of questions will be asked from a
particular subject. In 1998 ,around 30 questions were from
economics. But after that only 10-15 questions were asked in
that subject. So,you can't predict the way the question
paper is set.All you need is thorough knowledge in all the
examinations and confidence to crack the exam.It will be
better if you join in any coaching class

Hey friends don't be afraid for exams.
I'm Nancy. I'm working in the pvt company as a branch
manager.
Buy magazines for all subjects and put effort atleast one
month and automatically u come to know every thing in this
world ( mostly all basic ideas). Then your success ratio
will be very high. pls don't study in any school materials
(it's only of our reference). Many of my friends failed
only because of it. Don't go any course for competitive
exams except like UPSC ( UPSC also you have to select good
centre otherwise money and time have wasted).
Note:
Course centre is only for getting ideas and not for success.
Mostly that is money oriented.
If you a doubt Pls go and ask those who are selected
recently from 2007 .

See we are going for competition. If you prepare likethese
then you waste lot of time and energy with health. Focus to
our future , here smartness and awareness are very very
important. Competitive exams are only for testing our
memory rather than nothing else.

First and foremost we have to analyse one thing many of our
circles are not engaged with trend oriented. Today lot of
facilities are available, most thing is Internet. If you
have to know that Internet, Newspaper, Television, Radio ,
lot of contact persons with experience oriented ( for all
Subject) are the good mandras for successive people.
For Maths and English you must buy relevant books and you
can also take help from Internet. Lot of vedic Maths are
available (Vedic maths surely sharphen your mind).
For Sport and Current affairs you must watch News.

Lot of librarys are available in our nation. This the key
for the regular success. I practiced like this and I have
selected. You can question me if you have doubts.

Friends we are going to a government employee. We have to
serve our nation so we have to be very innovative and skill
oriented. All are very simple if we take steps.
Our government also expecting good people.

                     ----------Jaihind------------

Question   What is the main advantage of creating links to a file instead of copies of the file? Rank Answer Posted By
Interview Question Submitted By :: Daniel
I also faced this Question!!   © ALL Interview .com
Answer
The main advantage is not really that it saves disk space
(though it does that too) but, rather, that a change of
permissions on the file is applied to all the link access
points. The link will show permissions of lrwxrwxrwx but
that is for the link itself and not the access to the file
to which the link points. Thus if you want to change the
permissions for a command, such as su, you only have to do
it on the original. With copies you have to find all of the
copies and change permission on each of the copies.

2 Daniel

Answer
actually, if u have one version of dll and u dont want end
user to know abt that and when second version comes u r
changing the original file and now use the link to point
the latest version, so end user dont know abt the original
dll file.

0 Praveen

Answer
It is a way to allow one common copy. Most commonly used
for linking to a common configuration or library file where
the file owner or administrator will just need to make the
updates and all the users will have the same updates.

This is in contrast to every user having their own copies
and when there is a major change, every user will have to
ensure that their copies is the most updated.

Answer
I have read all the above types of test cases and here is my
answer according to my knowledge

1. integration test case
2.Functional Test case
3.Non-Functional Test cases( which include security,
performance and usability)
4.User Acceptance Test cases( end to end scenario).

Validation test case:- Here all the above stated techniques
of test cases fall under validation test cases itself, there
is no seperate test case for validation, when we execute all
the above test cases we can conclude we have done the entire
validation too.

Verificatin test cases:- after writing the entire test cases
there will be some dedicated people who review these test
cases to check whether these test cases written according to
the requirements or not, in such a case it is called
verification test case and when we are executing those test
cases it is called validation test cases.

In a simple way expected results are verification and
actual results are validation.

Integration test case:- here we execute test cases which
just tells about the connectivity from one module to other
module and integrating one application to other application
and how the application moves from parent node to child node
and vice versa.

Functional Test case:- Here we execute test cases which
tells about the functionality of the application and talks
about the desired output to be seen. internally we have
different type of test cases when we write here like range,
output values , BVA, ECP and so on. We give input and expect
some output according to the SRS.Here we check individual
module completely by checking each and every tab , text box,
buttons and so on.

Non-Functional Test case:- Test cases related to User
friendliness like font, image, color, how easy to navigate
etc, performance related, security related comes under here.

User Acceptance test case:- These test cases are cruical and
very important to client side people, because these test
case talks about there business and approach of the
application to complete a particular client task. which is
also called as End-End- Business scenario test case. Here we
won;t be doing testing related to UI, Functional or
Non-Functional, we talk about business and scenario which
the application is made for.

This might give you a small ideas for your question. If you
feel this is right do respond to me and if you feel a change
in it also do respond to me stating your contradiction to
it.. which will be helpful to me also.

Answer
Hi according to my knowledge Test cases are of basically
three types.
1.GUI Test cases
2.Functional Test cases(+ve and -ve test cases)
3.Non-functional test cases(Performance related)
GUI test case includes all the graphic and images displayed
in your application's interface.
Functional Test cases includes all the functionalities that
to be tested in the particular application.+ve and -ve input
values should be tested by going through BVA and EP.
Except all functions to be tested in the application are
non-functionality testing and the test case related to this
is non-functional test case.We execute test cases to check
whether the application is performing according to the
requirements or not and compatibility, security and
performance test cases includes non-functional test cases.

Answer
In generally there are only two types of Functional Test case
I)Formal test case,II)Informal test case...
Formal: has set of standards, rules and conditions
( like Test case_Id,description,I/p,Expected result,..)
used to prepare the test case. i.e based on the prepared
functional requirement document, testers will write the
test case and compare the expected with actual result and
put the status..
In this formal, testers should write the
both positive negatives types of test cases... +ve - to
assure application works fine according to the requirements..

-ve - for find the defect in the application
