Answer
guys ans is 2....i am explaining here
38 rs>>>19 mathches+24
actualy other peron wins a maths 24 i.e 24*2==48-(5*2)=38

24+5=29 total matches means 2 matches ties

0 Vinaysawant

Answer
Answer is 7:

One pays 38 rs / 2= 19 mathes .since each match loser has to pay rs 2.

5 matches won

19 + 5 = 24(matches played wining and losing)

31 total days - 24 = 7 days i.e 7 matches went draw

0 Annamaria Joseph

Answer
ans is 2
becos total days =31 they were play one match every day so total matchs=31
one give other to 38 rs and also he had lost 5 matches so he give 38 rs(19 matchs)+10rs(5 matches )=24 matchs
total rs is 38+10+10(becos he won 5 matchs(rs 10) and along with give 38 rs so
total amt is 38+10+10+4(amt of two matchs)=31 days every day one match and one match equal to 2 rs
62=31*2
62=62
so ans is 2

0 Kundan

Answer
total day 31
match won by A=5 lose =38/2=19
total match tie=31-(19+5)=7

2.30hrs

Answer
This seems too easy, maybe I'm missing something?
But if the smaller pipe fills the tank in 2 hours, adding a
2nd larger pipe will only reduce that time, so right off
the start, we know that the answer is less than 2 hours
(120 min).
The answer I got is 1.2 hours (aka 1hr 12min, aka 72 min)

5 Marktopher

Answer
if one pipe fills tank in 3 hrs and another in 3 hrs both will take 90 min only to fill the tank i.e 1.5 hrs to fill the tank

0 Reshma

the tank will fill in 50mins

0 Prasad Nair

0 Monika

Answer
right ans is 1hr 23.33min
(1/2+1/3)

0 Mahesh

Answer
1/180+1/120 => 120 + 180 /120*180 => 300/21600 => 3/216 => 1/72
it will take 72 mins

0 Elumalai

Answer
1 hr 20 min

0 Neelesh Patil

Answer
answer is simple & logical :
3hr-2hr= 1hr that means the difference between them is 1 hr
that means the tank will get full 1hr earlier than the tank
to fill in 2 hr pipe
so the tank will get full in 1 hr if both pipes are used

0 Chirag Shettigar

Answer
time taken by both pipes is 1/2 + 1/3 =5/6
then we have to divide by one 1/(5/6)=6/5 = 1.20 hrs
guys this is rite answer because i have solved it from my
father who is maths teacher.

0 Gaurav Singh

Answer
both pipes fill tank in
(1/3)+(1/2)= 5/6 hrs
It is in per/hrs
6/5 = 1.2 hrs

0 Mahendra

Answer
part filled by first pipe in 1 hour=1/3
part filled by second pipe in 1 hour=1/2.
part filled by both pipe=(1/3 + 1/2) =5/6
hence both the tank wil fill the tank in 6/5 hours i.e in
1.2 hours or 72 min

0 Vivek Yadav

Answer
let the time be t
let the completed job=1
pipe1 be the pipe fills in 3hours and pipe2 be the pipe tat
fills in 2hours.
pipe1+pipe2=full tank
  (t/3)+(t/2)=1
   multiply by 60 to clear the denominators
   60*(t/3)+60*(t/2)=60(1)
    20t+30t=60
     50t=60
       t=60/50=1.2hours
        the time taken to fill is 1.2hours

maruthi show rooms around mumbai and collect the no of white
maruthi cars that are sold till today thats it...,,

0 Subhash.v.l

Answer
go to registration office and get a count say 'n'.

then check in toll naka how many white marutis have entered in last 6 month as per their records and how many have gone out.
 say , m, and l , respectively.

it is 6 months since there is a provision of 6 monts for a car to register in a state so u cant find the same.

then go the the show rooms and find the unsold marutis that are laying there. say 'p'

So total marutis are =n+p-m-l

Answer
It can be like :
1.File having correct format i.e. supported by the
yahoo....
2.file containing correct data ...
3. file attached properly...i.e. whole data.
4.Empty file. etc

0 Nim

Answer
Basically, Test data refers to input provided to the test
case for execution purpose.

I think the answer mentioned above is most qualified to be
a pre-requisiste rather being a test data.

Test data could be:
1. Attachment file name - which would be used in the test
case (test case for Yahoo attachment).
2. Attachment file location\path - which would be used in
the test case (test case for Yahoo attachment)
3. Attachment file type (.i.e. doc,xls...etc)

For eg:
Testdata.xls should be available in the path :
d:\test\execution\testdata.xls

Answer
Found a defect,prepare a defect report with status : NEW

Defect accepted by development team status : open

Dev.team resolves the defect status : fixed/Resloved

If the defect is fixed status : close

If Dev.team rejects the defect status : duplicate.

0 Rahul

Answer
1. Once user report the defect with status as New

2. Business expert will analyze the defect and accepts its
a defect then it comes to Assigned State

3.Assigned user will analyze the defect he is able to
reproduce then he will try to fix and change the status as
Fixed. suppose he is unable to reproduce then developer
will assign status as Clarification Required.

4. Suppose bug state as clarification required then tester
needs to give more information regarding this defect.

5. Suppose defect status as Fixed then Dev manager will
check the code and changed the status as Fix Verified and
assign back to Testing Team means testers (who raised the
defect)

6. Once release the new build then testers will test the
application, suppose application is working fine then
tester will close the defect. Status as Closed.

7. Still user is getting the same defect in new build
status as : Fix Rejected.

what ever steps mentioned above wil vary company to company
or defect tracking tool to tool. But the entire defect life
cycle is the same but status will change.

If any queries pls contact same id...

Murali.
