Question   How do you know when the battery is fully charged? Rank Answer Posted By
 Interview Question Submitted By :: Gtmanikandan
I also faced this Question!!   ALL Interview .com
Answer
While most chargers have a light that turns from red to green when the battery is charged, some very inexpensive ones don't. The light simply comes on when a battery is in the charger telling you that the battery has connection. These are slow chargers that take about 12 hours to fully charge a drained battery but the charge is slow enough that the battery can be left in the charger indefinitely without harm. If you have the charger instruction sheet it should tell you.

0 Tarequl Islam Mukul

Answer
Place a low value resistance and a fully discharged capacitor in series with each other to the battery. The capacitor will charge rapidly. Repeat this procedure again. The lowest time charging time will indicate that the battery is fully charged.

it is volume of combustion chmber

0 Rishi

Answer
It is the volume of charge(air+fuel) that enter into the cylinder in one complete revolution of crankshaft.

0 Vikas Bhardwaj

Answer
The Term CC of an Automobile Engine is the Cubic Capacity of
the Engine ( No. of Cylinders x Cubic Capacity of one
Cylinder in case of Multi cyl. Engine ) expressed in Cubic
Centimetre. Mathematically its the sum of Swept volume and
Clearance volume. In practice, some Engine capacity is
termed in Litres.... 1000cc equals 1 litre

 For Example:-
  Maruti 800 - denotes 800 cm3/cc
  Innova 2.5 - 2.5 Litre equals 2500 cm3/cc and so on...

0 Natesan

Answer
it is the only swept volume of engine cylinder not clearance volume

0 Chetan

Question   What is the difference between Cycle time, standard time & Critical standard time? Rank Answer Posted By
 Interview Question Submitted By :: Vijay
I also faced this Question!!   ALL Interview .com
Answer
cycle time--

THE TIME TAKEN TO RETURN TO ITS STARTING POINT AFTER THE
COMPLETION OF ALL PROCESSES.

STANDARD TIME-

The time which should be followed by the all processes
during the completion of the cycle.

means cycle time should be closer to the STANDARD time.

CRITICAL STANDARD TIME--

Maximum time that can be used by the processes during its
complete cycle is called CRITICAL STANDARD TIME.

process(SPC) and other one is in respect of product's
characteristics statisticaly(SQC) by using same DMAIC
process and using 7QC tools.

Question   what is the difference between KVAR & KVA ? Rank Answer Posted By
 Interview Question Submitted By :: Kumar
I also faced this Question!!   ALL Interview .com
Answer
KVAR-Kilo Volt Ampere Reactive, it is mentioned for
Capacitor rating.
KVA-Kilo Volt Ampere,it is mentioned for Generator rating.

3 Bindu

Answer
KVA: For transformer the rating will be mentioned in KVA
b'coz real power are expressed in terms of voltage and
current not dependent on powerfactor.

KVAR: It is reactive apparant power ie., kVAr=kW*TAN PI

0 S.arunkumar

Answer
KVA=KW/COS.theta
kvar= kw/ sin.theta

0 Sudheer

Answer
KVA=V*I
this is used for measureing the total power fed into the
ckt, so generally used in defining the rating of the
transformer, also independent of PF.

KVAR - sqrt((KVA*KVA)-(KW*KW))
This is the correct relationship between the all three
power.

0 Shriram Gaur

Answer
from power triangle we have kva^2=kw^2+kvar^2

0 Jobmonjacob

Answer
KVAR= Ractive power
KVA= Apperant power

0 Ganapati

Answer
KVA = V*I
 KW = V*I*cos theta
 KVAR = V*I*sine theta
kw is the real power
kva is the apparent power
kvar is the reactive power

0 Nkwocha Obinna

Answer
kva is apparant pawer which is used for transformer or generator rating
while kvar is reactive power kilo volt ampere reactive it does not do any work in the circuit only moves forth and back .
m i wrong ?
if yes suggest correct answer

0 Arun

Answer
KVAR is the reactive power utilised by the generators,
transformers, motors for producing magnetic flux
KW (true power) is the actual power or true power that
performs actual work
KVA ( Apparent power)is the vector summation of KW+KVAR
KVA=KW+KVAR

0 Sree

Answer
real power /Uperant power is called PF

0 Paramesh

Answer
true power/apparent power

1 Saravanan.n

Answer
It is the ratio of the resistance to impedance.

PF= R/Z.
OR
It is cosine of phase angle between voltage & current.

It can be improved by connecting the capacitors in parallel
to the supply.

3 Satish M

Answer
It is the ratio between active power and reactive power.

5 Bindu

Answer
IT CAN BE DEFINED AS THE RATION BETWEEN RESISTANCE AND IMPEDANCE

COS0=R/Z

0 Thamizh

Answer
power factor is the Cosine of Angle between the Applied
VOltage and current. It directly depends on the Load. If
the load is Inductive then the PF is LAGGING.If the load is
resistive the PF is leading.Power Factor takes value from 0
to 1. Unity Power Factor is the Idealised condition, means
least power dissipated and high effeciency.

It can also be calculated from R/Z and KW/KVA ratings.

0 Gautham

Answer
the power factor of acircuit may be defined as:

(1)the ratio resistance and impedance = r/z

(2)the ratio =  watts/voltampers=trepower/apparent
power=V x I x cosQ /V X I

(3)the cosine of the angle of lead or lag current from the
applied voltage

power factore is The Ratio Of Loss Of Inductive Load
Between true Power And Aperant Power Also It Can Define In
Cosin Angle Between Voltage And Current.

0 Amit Sonmale

Answer
power factor=real power\apparent power

0 Srinivasan

Answer
It is an indication of what fraction of the sending end VA
is actually converted in to energy Like heat, torque,
etc......... either useful or otherwise... It is
numerically equal to the ratio of Active Power-P to
Apparent Power-S.
Incidentally, this quantity in Sine waves is equal to R/Z..
or Coa(angle between v and I)....
But in circuits with non-sinusoidal waveforms of v & i, it
is to be found by P/S...

0 Shashidhara Tm

Answer
power facor means ratio of true power(kw) and apperant(kva)
power.

0 Sagar

Answer
P.f=Real Power/Apperent Power OR V.I.CosPie OR Resistance/Impedance OR R/Z.
