default join in F.M is inner join while creating the
relation ship between tables . u can change that by editing
the join.   
Inner join is most widely used

The joins present in the reportnet are innerjoin and outer 
join. The most widely used join is inner join. Its a 
default join

Generally we have two types of joins here. 1.Inner 
join,2.outer join but widely  we are using inner join. 
Outer join is used for only when we need unmatched rows at 
the time we will go outer joins.

there is no tool for datawarehouse automation tesgting as 
per my knowledge

list report,cross tab report,pie charts etcs....

master detail,drill through,cascading

List,Cross tab, Chart, Map report are the basic report of 
Cognos.

no man,u people defining types/formats of report .he need 
names of the report,such 
sales_daily_reports,sales_weekly_reports

I PREPARE MANY REPORTS LIKE LIST,CROSTAB,CHART,DRILLTHROUGH.

If you know the answer respond otherwise dont misguide

How would somebody can answer what reports this guy has 
prepared? he has to give names of the reports alongwith the 
details of the report types and how he decided names 
(theory of naming convention)during his projects/work.

roll up means moving up one level in the specified 
hierarecy.,ex:time dimension
year-quarter-month-day
moving from month to year is rollup

i think there is no roll back in DW
