5 G.naveen

Answer
BY USING COMPILER OPTION MATH, IT WILL INCREASE THE VARIABLE CAPACITY UP TO 31 DIGITS.

0 Shekh

Answer
The default is 18..which means the compiler option will be
Arith(compat)..
If you change the compiler option to Arith(extend) you can
use max 31 digits..
This is one of the famous interview question now a days.
Say i want to declare a variable with PIC 9(20) is it
possible?
People who doesn't know Arith(extend) compiler option they
will say it's not possible to declare a variable with PIC 9
(20) keeping 18 digits in mind. This is how it is.

Question   What is the audit process? How do you perform the audit? Rank Answer Posted By
Interview Question Submitted By :: Charulatha S
I also faced this Question!!   © ALL Interview .com
Answer
Hi,
Audit process is nothing but assesment of your project to
ensure if the project is going smoothly and team is clear
with what needs to be developed/tested...

In my company audit will happen sometimes seperately for
Dev & Qa and sometimes combined...
Requirements for the Dev Audit meeting:
•Project Plan
•Project requirements document(s)
•For requirements not available in requirements document –
a confirmation from Project Manager (should be avoided)
•Technical Impact Analysis / High Level Design / Low Level
Design documents (as required)
•Interface requirements document (IRD)
•Code review results (as required)
•Unit Test Objectives and Scripts with Traceability
•Integration Test Objectives and Scripts with Traceability
•Release Notes and Promote-to-Production (PTP) documents

Requirements for the QA Audit meeting:
•Project Plan
•Project requirements document(s) – All requirements have
to be available in requirements documents – No exceptions
•System Test Plan
•System Test Scripts with Traceability

The auditor may ask questions to the team what was their
understanding on the requirement, how did they
implement/test and what strategy did they follow?. PSO team
members will also be present in the Audit who will note
down everything and finally send out the project health
status to the concerned people.

guys, please let me know if anything else is missed out...

Question   Difference between Defect Removal efficiency and Defect containment effectiveness Rank Answer Posted By
Interview Question Submitted By :: Charulatha S
I also faced this Question!!   © ALL Interview .com
Answer
Normally in all the forums, you will find these two terms
used interchangebly, so they seems same, except in some
cases effecciency is considering some more parameters of
defects like weitage based on defect severity and type.

As per my understanding this is the difference -

Defect Containment Effectiveness = Defect Found under a
phase (say Testing)
--------------------------------------------------- x 100
Defect cound under same phase (say Testing) + Defects found
under following phases (Say UAT, post production defects)

Defect removal effeciency = Defect removal effectiveness
                            ----------------------------
                            Cost (Effort) involved in
Testing phase

E.g. if my effectivess is 80% and I spend 100 hr in
testing. Then my effeciency of defect removal is .8 per hr.

If I improve my effectiveness say it's now 90% but still
with same efforts say 100 hr. Then my effeciency will be
0.9 per hr, which is a indication of my improved effeciency.

But If I took 200 hr and achieve effectiveness of 90%, then
my actual effeceincy is 0.45 which is a drop. It make sense
because I can't keep on spending hrs and hrs on a testing
phase just to increase my effectivess, so yes my
effectivess migh increase but effort I spend will ultimate
bring down my effeciency....

Again it's my own understanding and feel free to suggest
your opinion on this.

Cheers !
