Answer
=>c does not a class/object concept
   =>c++ provides data encapsulation,data
abstraction,polymorphism.
   =>c++ support all c syntax
   =>in c passing value to a function is "call by value"
     where c++ its "call by reference"

C++ is the hight level language, but C is low level
language.

C++ can support of all function of C, but C can't support
of all function of C++.

We can work with Class in C++, But we can't work with Class
in C

C++ is a object oriented language but C is not OOPS

C is the Top to bottom , but C++ is bottom to Top language.

3] c is top to bottom programing approach, c++ is bottom to
top programing approach.
4] c++ is high level language,c is low level language.
5] c++ accept all the feature & function of of c & its own
properties,but it is not happened in c.
6] data can move in c openly arround in the system from
function to function.In c++ data is hidden can't be
accessed by external function.

Answer
Main difference between c and c++ are:
1.) In c++, there is strict typechecking and in c, there is
no strict typechecking. So, many programes which can
compiled by c compiler cannot be compiled by c++ compiler.

2.) In c, there is only "EARLY BINDING", whereas in c++,
there are "EARLY BINDING & LATE BINDING".

3.)C++ IS HIGH LEVEL LANGUAGE BUT 'C' IS LOW LEVEL LANGUAGE.

4.)In c++,there is a new concept of "INLINE FUNCTIONS",
whereas in c, there are macros.

5.)C++ is a object oriented language but C is not OOPS.

Answer
1.C language is easy as compare to c++.Because in one side
c++ show inheritance so another side its show the
properties of encapslution which are the contrast or weaken
point to inheritance due to encapslution.
2.In C the function pass from one funtion to another
several times while in C++ the function is hidden through
some external function.
3.C is a procedural or structural oriented language uses
ups-down approch and focus on procedure rather than data
while C++ is an object-oriented language uses down-ups
approch and focus on data rather than procedure.
4.C language uses pointer concept while there is no concept
of pointer in C++.
5.C++ is a prototype or a strick typechecking where C is
free of such things, so most programmes which is compiled
by C compiler cannot be compiled by C++ compiler.

Answer
1.c is procedure oriented lang. while c++ is object oriented lang.
2. in c data security is less because all function shares global data,while in c++ data security is most because of binding of data with function in a single unit called class.This feature of c++ is called encapsulation.
3.c does not deal with real world problems properly.eg. maintaining a database. while c++ deals with real world problems.
4.in c if we need to change the data structure then we have to change the coding of all the functions which are using that data,while in c++ if we need to change the data structure change only data structure of those functions which are binded with that data.

hi,
for more understanding see this program

for adding two no.

#include<stdio.h>................#include<iostream.h>
#include<conio.h>           .    #include<conio.h>
void main()                 .    void main()
{                           .      {
int a,b,c;                  .      int a,b;
printf("enter 2 no.");      .     cout<<"enter two number";
scanf("%d%d",&a,&b);        .      cin>>a>>b;
c=a+b;                      .      int c=a+b;
printf("sum is=%d"c);       .       cout<<"sum is="<<c;
getch();                    .       getch
();                         .
}                           .       }

so from above we know that in c variables are declared in
above bt in case of C++ variable declaration can be
anywhere .whenever we need we declare variables

Answer
* C does not have any classes or objects. It is
procedure and function driven. There is no concept of access
through objects and structures are the only place where
there is a access through a compacted variable. c++ is
object oriented.

    * C structures have a different behaviour compared to
c++ structures. Structures in c do not accept functions as
their parts.

    * C input/output is based on library and the processes
are carried out by including functions. C++ i/o is made
through console commands cin and cout.

    * C functions do not support overloading. Operator
overloading is a process in which the same function has two
or more different behaviours based on the data input by the
user.

    * C does not support new or delete commands. The memory
operations to free or allocate memory in c are carried out
by malloc() and free().

    * Undeclared functions in c++ are not allowed. The
function has to have a prototype defined before the main()
before use in c++ although in c the functions can be
declared at the point of use.

    * After declaring structures and enumerators in c we
cannot declare the variable for the structure right after
the end of the structure as in c++.

    * For an int main() in c++ we may not write a return
statement but the return is mandatory in c if we are using
int main().

    * In C++ identifiers are not allowed to contain two or
more consecutive underscores in any position. C identifiers
cannot start with two or more consecutive underscores, but
may contain them in other positions.

    * C has a top down approach whereas c++ has a bottom up
approach.

    * In c a character constant is automatically elevated to
an integer whereas in c++ this is not the case.

    * In c declaring the global variable several times is
allowed but this is not allowed in c++.

In c++,access specifiers(public,protected,private)are used
while in C they are not used because in c there isn't any
data accessing restriction.
In c,I/O functions are scanf(),printf()respectively,but in

Answer
In c:Data is global and accessible to all the function of
the program without any restriction so,any function can
change the data which reduce the data security and
integrity.

In c++:Data and associated functions are binded together
into a single unit called object so the data of any object
can only be accessible by the function of that object
which protect data from unauthorized access ,thus
maintaning the data security and integrity.

Answer
C++, as the name suggests is a superset of C. As a matter of fact, C++ can run most of C code while C cannot run C++ code. Here are the 10 major differences between C++ & C...

1. C follows the procedural programming paradigm while C++ is a multi-paradigm language(procedural as well as object oriented)

In case of C, importance is given to the steps or procedure of the program while C++ focuses on the data rather than the process.
Also, it is easier to implement/edit the code in case of C++ for the same reason.

2. In case of C, the data is not secured while the data is secured(hidden) in C++

This difference is due to specific OOP features like Data Hiding which are not present in C.

3. C is a low-level language while C++ is a middle-level language (Relatively, Please see the discussion at the end of the post)

C is regarded as a low-level language(difficult interpretation & less user friendly) while C++ has features of both low-level(concentration on whats going on in the machine hardware) & high-level languages(concentration on the program itself) & hence is regarded as a middle-level language.

4. C uses the top-down approach while C++ uses the bottom-up approach

In case of C, the program is formulated step by step, each step is processed into detail while in C++, the base elements are first formulated which then are linked together to give rise to larger systems.

5. C is function-driven while C++ is object-driven

Functions are the building blocks of a C program while objects are building blocks of a C++ program.

6. C++ supports function overloading while C does not

Overloading means two functions having the same name in the same program. This can be done only in C++ with the help of Polymorphism(an OOP feature)

7. We can use functions inside structures in C++ but not in C.

In case of C++, functions can be used inside a structure while structures cannot contain functions in C.

8. The NAMESPACE feature in C++ is absent in case of C

C++ uses NAMESPACE which avoid name collisions. For instance, two students enrolled in the same university cannot have the same roll number while two students in different universities might have the same roll number. The universities are two different namespace & hence contain the same roll number(identifier) but the same university(one namespace) cannot have two students with the same roll number(identifier)

9. The standard input & output functions differ in the two languages

C uses scanf & printf while C++ uses cin>> & cout<< as their respective input & output functions

10. C++ allows the use of reference variables while C does not

Reference variables allow two variable names to point to the same memory location. We cannot use these variables in C programming.

11. C++ supports Exception Handling while C does not.

C does not support it "formally" but it can always be implemented by other methods. Though you don't have the framework to throw & catch exceptions as in C++.

Question   What is checksum termnology in informatica? Where do you use it ? Rank Answer Posted By

Answer
Its a validation rule If the data is altered outside the
company firewall, the checksum will automatically detect
the violation and deny validation of the data

0 Krishna

Answer
Specify whether you want the PowerChannel Server to
calculate checksum for the file transfer. Enter "yes" to
enable checksum. Enter "no" to disable checksum. If you do
not enter a value for checksum, PcCmd uses the default
checksum value in the PcCmd.properties file.

Answer
Checksum used to cretae unique columns in table when u
implement checsum on any field in table during load time
then it will automatically find the max value of the field
and add 1 for every next record inserted. basically used i

Answer
Sort utility could be used for this with the OUTFIL option.
In your case you will have to mention 4 outfil op
OUTFIL RECORDS=(POS,LENGTH,COND,CONDVALUE) OUTIL=PS1
PS1 would be the outdataset need to define in DD stmt. In
ur case you need to have 4 outfil stmts mentioning 4
outfile record..
Not sure about the syntax..

0 Aarti Sharma

Answer
You need to use ICETOOL utility and with Case statment. Pl
find the answer from ICETOOL pdf manual and test it.

0 Chandan

Answer
You can do through DF SORT .
See the below Example.

OUTFIL FNAMES=OUTDD1,INCLUDE=(POS,LENGTH,COND,CONDVALUE)
OUTFIL FNAMES=OUTDD2,INCLUDE=(POS,LENGTH,COND,CONDVALUE)
OUTFIL FNAMES=OUTDD3,INCLUDE=(POS,LENGTH,COND,CONDVALUE)

0 Ajay

Answer
You can use OUTFIL's SPLIT parameter to put the first
record into OUTPUT1, the second record into OUTPUT2, the
third record into OUTPUT1, the fourth record into OUTPUT2,
and so on until you run out of records. SPLIT splits the
records one at a time among the data sets specified by
FNAMES. The following statements split the records between
two OUTFIL data sets:
       OPTION COPY
       OUTFIL FNAMES=(Op1.op2,op3,op4),SPLIT
Similarly, OUTFIL's SPLITBY=n parameter splits the records
n at a time among the data sets specified by FNAMES. The
following statements split the records four at a time
between three OUTFIL data sets:

       OPTION COPY
       OUTFIL FNAMES=(OUT1,OUT2,OUT3),SPLITBY=4

I'm not sure about the answers posted.But you can try this
simple JCL to achieve what you want.

//JOBCARD                  /*As per your company standard*/
//STEP1    EXEC PGM=SORT
//Sortin   DD   DSN=<Inputfile>,disp=shr
//SORT0F01 DD   DSN=<FILENM1>,DISP=OLD
//SORT0F02 DD   DSN=<FILENM2>,DISP=OLD
//SORT0F03 DD   DSN=<FILENM3>,DISP=OLD
//SORT0F04 DD   DSN=<FILENM4>,DISP=OLD
//SYSPRINT DD   SYSOUT=*
//SYSOUT   DD   SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN    DD   *
  OPTION COPY OR SORT FIELDS=COPY
  OUTFIL FILES=01,STARTREC=1,ENDREC=1
  OUTFIL FILES=02,STARTREC=2,ENDREC=2
  OUTFIL FILES=03,STARTREC=3,ENDREC=3
  OUTFIL FILES=04,STARTREC=4,ENDREC=4
/*
//

NOTE: I have given DISP=OLD which means it will override
the contents when you submit the jcl
If you want to create a new dataset replace like this
EX:
//SORT0F04 DD   DSN=<FILENM4>,DISP=(NEW,CATLG,DELETE),
//             SPACE=(TRK,(1,4)),DCB=*.SORTIN

Hope this makes sense!!

select sal from emp where sal <(select max(sal) from emo)

though rownum which is a pseudo column can be used for
comparisions with relational operators like > or < ,>=, <=

similarly rowid also.

limit 1,1; first '1' means that bring cursor to the end of record and the next '1' means number of records to be printed after the cursor position.

third highest:
mysql> select * from employee group by salary desc limit 2,1;

limit 2,1; '2' means that bring cursor to the end of 2nd record and the next '1' means number of records to be printed after the cursor position.

need of saying them about educational back ground..because
it was already mentioned in your resume..
It will be a time waste..because..the HR also has eyes to
see your resume..one more important thing..if the HR
askes.." ok priya...tell me about your self.."
then dont start with my name is priya...because he already
knows your name...no need to say ur name again..u can
directly start ur self
u can say..im a jolly person..and u can say about ur
strengths...but not weeknesses...no company wants ur
weeksness unless asked by them

Answer
Sometimes interviewer may not give you more than 2 minutes
to answer this question. So you should learn to mention the
most important details first. i.e, Your details, Education,
recent Experience, your Skillsset etc. (Don't start telling
about your family background or your hobbies. If the
interviewer is still looking for more details at the end of
2 minutes, then you can add those details.) Practise
telling a short answer and a long answer.
2) Short is sweet. Generally they don't expect a long story
from you.
3) Be sure about every point you are telling. Some people
may interrupt you and cross-question you. Be prepared for
that. Answer with a smile.
4) Don't look like you memorized the answer. Don't rush to
complete it. Tell slowly and steadily (with a firm voice)
as if you are answering from your heart.

Hope this helps !

Answer
You have to always start with your name and personnel information like( name, born and bought up in, about your family background, educational qualification );

Then about your professional experience. If you are a fresher tell about your hobbies and interest to continue the flow of interview.

Then start with your aim and your strength and weakness.

They will ask you why do you want to work in this firm.
Tell them that this is a reputed company and I want to do something on my own. I want to work because of two reasons
1> Firstly would be the monetary issue and 2> I want to face the new challenges and want to learn .

Be ready to speak about your home town as the common questions of the HR would be , Tell me something about your home town.In this question the purpose is to check your communication skills and the use of your grammer. They are not interested to listen about your hometown...

Best of luck guys. Hit the bulls eyes....

Answer
First we should arrange the sequence order and alloting
time for each sequence point( i.e. should be minimum 5 to 6
minuts)

One:
Start with your full name and Place( i.e.basically where
your from.)[TIME- HALF MINUT.]

Two:
Followed by your education qualification.( i.e your domain
and institute name and passing year)[TIME- ONE AND HALF
MINUT]

Third:
Should be your experience incase of if you are experienced.
otherwise you suppose to speak about your project this
point is very important becuase some times its decides your
selection.[TIME TWO MINUTS.]

Four:
Achievements and awards and rewards.[TIME-ONE MINUT]

fifth:
hobis[ TIME- ONE MINUT]

Sixth:
Family background, it is last but not least, it should be
last becase two reasons i.e 1.if interviewer ask yourself
first you should speak about your personal details so
family details should be last and family background there
may separate question. second reason is many interviers
usually they dont ask you to stop here there is chance to
speak lot about family members and their manes and their
occupation in case they willnot ask u stop.

Note: This is for last point there is no time set. Start
with your parents names speak untill interviewer ask u stop.

thank you

You can IEBEDIT utility for your requirement. The syntax as
follows.

Syntax:
//JOBCARD
//PS010  EXEC PGM=IEBEDIT
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSUT1   DD DSN=path of your JCL,DISP=SHR
//SYSUT2   DD SYSOUT=(A,INTRDR)
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN    DD  *
 EDIT TYPE=INCLUDE,STEPNAME=(PS008,PS004)
/*

0 Ravikumar. R

Answer
Hi RaviKumar,

Your above solution is not working. It just executes both
the steps in the sequence with which it is defined in the
JCL.

I propose a syntax below to meet the requirement,

//JOBCARD
//PS010  EXEC PGM=IEBEDIT
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSUT1   DD DSN=path of your JCL,DISP=SHR
//SYSUT2   DD SYSOUT=(A,INTRDR)
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN    DD  *
 EDIT TYPE=INCLUDE,STEPNAME=(PS008)
/*
//PS020  EXEC PGM=IEBEDIT
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSUT1   DD DSN=path of your JCL,DISP=SHR
//SYSUT2   DD SYSOUT=(A,INTRDR)
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN    DD  *
 EDIT TYPE=INCLUDE,STEPNAME=(PS004)
/*

Here I have given a separate IEBEDIT to execute the same
JCL but different step exec seqeunce. As simple as that.
I would really wish if there is a much better solution to
the one that I have given here. :)

code restart parameter in jobcard as below.
JOBNAME JOB ,,MSGCLASS=***,NOTIFY=***,
        RESTART=STEP8,COND(0,LE)
- only step 8 will execute

then change the jobcard with RESTART=STEP4,COND(0,LE)
- only step 4 wil be executed.

0 Loga

Answer
@ Loga: If we use your option then we have to restart the
same job Twice to achieve this.

@ Pradip: Generally we won't be having that much time to
write a JCl with 2 steps and check the execution

If anyone can provide a simple solution that would be
better.

Sorry if you guys feel hurt but it's true!!!
